    Educational Qualification Required
    For Class I-V Primary Stage:
    All the candidates who passed or appearing final year exam of Teachers training can apply. Qualification and teachers training are:-
    ♦ Senior Secondary or it's equivalent with 50% Marks. 
    And 
    1. Two years Diploma in Elementary Education. (By whatever name known). Or
    2. Four Year Bachelor of elementary education.(B.El.Ed). Or
    3. Two Years Diploma in Education(Special Education) Or
    4.Bachelor degree with 50% marks and Bachelor of Education(B.ed)

    Elementary Stage Class VI-Viii
    For the teaching job of  Elementary stage, the candidates have to apply for the paper-II. And the required qualification is provided below. Please note candidate who appeared in final year exam of degree or teachers training can also apply to this CET exam December 2019. 
    •Graduation with 50% marks and D.El.Ed or B.Ed.
    ♦ Senior Secondary or it's equivalent and four years Bachelor in Elementary Education.
    ♦Senior Secondary Education and four years B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
    ♦ Graduation with 50% marks and 1 Year B.ed. 
    ♦ Any candidates having B.ed programme recognised by NCTE is eligible to sit CTET Exam.

    Class I-V: To participate in the Teacher Eligibility Test for Class I to V, the candidates have to apply for Paper I and need following educational qualification.
    10+2 Exam Passed with B.El.Ed, D.El.Ed or Graduation with D.EL.Ed.
    Class VI-Viii: For these classes teacher posts, the participant should have to apply for Paper-II and required the following educational qualification.
    •Graduation with D.El.Ed or B.Ed.

    CTET Exam September 2018

    Eligibility Criteria

    Essential qualification: when a candidates B.ed (2years)degree holder, candidates can apply for only class six to eight standard class teacher.

    When c candidates D.ed, D.el.ed holder then the candidate can apply for the Primary School teacher. While the candidates are eligible for primary teacher posts and also have a bachelor degree then the candidate can also apply for Six to Eight Stand School teacher. Please note there are marks bar to appear in CTET Exam 2018.
     →For a primary teacher, the candidate has to score a minimum of 50% in the Higher Secondary exam and 50% in Graduation for Upper Primary teacher(vi-viii). Candidates who have D.Ed or D.El.Ed and have 50% in Higher Secondary(intermidate/12th Standard), candidates no need to score 50% marks in Graduation.
    → 5% of marks are relaxable for reserved community categories candidates. 
    According to the new amendment, B.ed degree holder can also participate in Primary Teacher Eligibility Test, and it has effected on this CTET Exam. All the B.Ed degree holder now can apply for the Teacher Eligibility Test for class 1 to v. 

    Syllabus and Pass Score

    In both papers, the question is set up by 150 marks. And the qualifying marks is 60%, that's mean to qualify this exam candidates to have to score 90 out of 150. Though candidates from reserved categories would be qualified by scoring 55% Marks and they have to score only 82.5 marks out of 150. For Upper Primary teacher recruitment TET exam are taken in two streams. The streams are Arts and Science. For arts stream, question paper is set with First language, Second language Child Psychology, Pedagogy and Social Studies. 30 question(each question one marks) marks for the first four topics and 60 marks for the Social Studies. Social Science will be changed to Social Science in case of candidates appear for Science stream. 
    When a candidate will appear as the primary teacher, the question will be prepared on the following topics. 1. First language, 2. Second Language, 3. Child Psychology, math and General Studies.

    ■Exam Fees: To participate in the Teacher Eligibility Test candidates have to pay Rs 700. If the candidates apply for both(Paper I & Paper II), the candidates have to pay Rs 1200. Candidates from SC/ST and Differently Ablet candidate can apply by paying Rs 350 for a single paper and Rs 600 for both papers.
