Selected candidates must first work on a trial period and will be paid daily-wager rates approved by the Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh. Appointment is considered only after successful completion of the trial period.

Frash Selection

Selection is based on an Interview of 50 marks (25 marks for Suitability to the Job and 25 marks for Etiquettes/Manners). Candidates equivalent to 4 times the advertised vacancies (category-wise) will be called for a Physical Endurance Test (PET), which is qualifying in nature. The PET includes an 800 metre race, long jump, and high jump. Candidates must clear all three events. The final merit list will be prepared strictly on Interview marks among those who qualify the PET.
