No. of vacancy: There is 2652 no of Apprentice posts will be recruit through this Southern Railway recruitment.
Require Education Qualification: Candidates who want to apply for Fresher Apprentice should have qualified 10th standard qualified under the education system 10+2 or equivalent with the subject Physics, Chemistry and biology. And qualification required for the 617 Ex-ITI is 10th standard qualification under the 10+2 education system with the ITI course from a government recognized ITI.
Age Limit: Candidates should be under 22 years and not less than 15 years for the fresher 120 Apprentice recruitment. and 18 to 24 years for Ex-ITI posts. In both cases, the Applicant from a reserved category will get the age relaxation as per rules. SC and ST 5 years and Obc will 3 years upper age relaxation.

Educational Qualification:-To take part in this competitive examination candidate must be 10+2 or equivalent course qualified with the minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks or candidates may be qualified 10th or equivalent course with ITI when candidates apply for the group-c applicant
for the group D, must be 10th standard or equivalent course or ITI qualified or appeared.
Application Fees: - Candidates of OBC or unreserved candidates must pay 500/- rupees and 250 rupees have to pay in case of candidates belonging from SC, ST, PWD, EX-servicemen, and women. Candidates should pay fees in IPO (Indian Postal Order) withdrawn from any Indian Post Office.
